Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Geoffrey Bush

Letter No.:
VWL1161
March 17 [1937]

The White Gates,
Dorking.

Dear Mr Bush

I was very glad to have news of you. I quite agree with you that love & enthusiasm goes a long way to cover technical faults - indeed without that the finest technical performance in the world becomes sounding brass and tinkling cymbal.1
I will do my best to listen on Tuesday
Yours sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams
