Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Maud Karpeles
Letter No.:
VWL1295
[About 10th September 1934]
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
Dear Maud
Alas! I fear there is no chance of my coming. I have to stop in bed any way until Friday - so I certainly could not travel on Saturday.
- I was looking forward to it so much
I did so like seeing you on Sat. - & I’ve read all Nevinson’s book - much of it very good - some not so good.2
Yrs
