[17th August 1938]

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

My Dear

I am passing through London on the 24th - so that is good luck - are daylight meetings any good? If so we will meet when & where you say & you shall see me off by my afternoon train to Worcester. Let me know.
Good about the new poems - my poet friend1 is still away so I have not been able to ask his opinion yet.
Yrs
