Have you heard of Dr Robert Koppel  – born 1909 Doctor of Vienna University – musicologist & said to be a good pianist – studied early English music at B. Museum. Wrote a dissertation on “Paraphrase in Pfte music”. He has sent it to me – (not published). To my very limited knowledge of German it looks very thorough & very dull.
Could we possibly put him on our list as “distinguished” or even in our “second eleven” as being a worthy & useful musician?¹
