From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dear Foss,

                                                              M.B. arrt of “England”1

I must on no account be responsible for doing Gordon Jacob out of a job - so please if he still wishes to do it let things be as they are. I only meant that if he cried off I wd do it myself rather than hand it on to anyone else.
I believe there will soon be a spate of Internee applications so perhaps we ought to call a full ctee meeting.2

Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams
