Dear Bessy

Many thanks for your encouraging letter.
Also I am glad you liked the article on Walford1 – it had to be written in a hurry after supper to be ready by 8.0 the next morning – & I wasn’t feeling well. So there were some bad misprints – Two of them made nonsense so did not matter – But they printed “beauty of intention” (which is an insult) instead of “beauty of invention”!
