Westcott Road,

July 3rd [1939]

Dear Denis

The show on Oct 24 & 25 may have to be postponed – I will let you know as soon as possible – but meanwhile don’t lose another good job for it.1
By the way I am empowered to offer you the magnificent sum of £5-5-0 instead of the £3-3-0 originally allowed me!
Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams
