The Pfte version of Greensleeves has just been sent me – it looks very good – I say looks since not having 4 hands I can’t play it through (even if I had I couldn’t).¹

1. Hubert Foss had made a four-hand arrangement of the Fantasia on Greensleeves, see CW 1934/1 p.152, which was published in 1942. The letter reads as if VW had received the published version of the arrangement and not a draft for comment.
