Thank you all for this wonderful present1 – I hope it doesn’t mean that it will all end in smoke!  I have such happy recollections of coming down to Bristol to hear your singers & have your hospitality. Please give my affectionate greetings to them when next you see them & take from me all the respect & affection you want – & then there will be a lot over
