Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to F.W. Evans

Letter No.:
VWL197
[On or about March 26 1905]

10, Barton Street,
Westminster

Dear Mr Evans

If Miss Cordingley can sing E I can alter the F in her part which only comes once. The whole part is not for a high soprano but for a mezzo - or medium contralto - the compass is C - F (or E). I have the part ready here when I know whom to send it to.
