13 Cheyne Walk

[early March 1907]

Dear Mrs Hadley
(1)  I will try to go to Dr Richardson next Friday – anyway we will have the rehearsal at 1.30 on Sat. 16th
(2)  I’m so sorry there is a difficulty about the dance – I thought we had talked it over & that the Sellengers round cd be either a multiple of 16 bars or of 20 – I think it must be the same each repetition otherwise it is so confusing to the players – but it can be either 16 bars or 20.
(3)  Sat. evening will suit me – or Sunday afternoon wd have done equally well, as I told you, because the Passmore Edwards concert is in the evening.
(4)  Will you kindly tell me
(a)  If we can have the rehearsal (band) on Friday morning (15th) at the theatre I have settled 10 a.m. for this.
(b)  When the band are wanted for Thursday evening’s rehearsal?1
Yrs very truly
R. Vaughan Williams
