Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Terence Casey

Letter No.: VWL2197

The White Gates,
Dorking,
SURREY.

28th February, 1951.

Dear Mr. Casey,

Thank you very much for your kind letter.
I thought it was a good performance – plenty of life and vitality, though not always quite correct.
I much appreciate your appreciation, but do not compare me with other composers.  I think there is room for us all, at least I hope so!
Yours sincerely,

R Vaughan Williams
