Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Adrian Boult

Letter No.:

16th April, 1952.

The White Gates,
Dorking,
Surrey.

Dear Adrian

I am so sorry I am not able to be at your meeting to-day, but I really know nothing about the International Music Association.  I see on the notepaper that I am a vice-president or something; but I have quite forgotten.
I am so sorry you could not come to the Passion.1  I think it was the best performance we have done up to the present.
Yrs
