From R. Vaughan Williams,

Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

Dear Dr Rauter

These arrangements seem to me very good - Effective, singable and not too difficult.
I have one or 2 suggestions for your consideration
I once loved - wd this be better ½ a tone lower i.e. 4 #’s E major?
Minnelied - I am not quite happy about the harmony where I have marked it - the repeated ‘Bs’ in the 2nd alto? Also the final cadence?
Mazur - wd the slow part be better in quavers & crotchets (easier to read?

These are mere suggestions
Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams
