Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Herbert Byard

Letter No.:
May 31st 1954.

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

Dear Byard,
Thank you so much.  I believe that my talk on Holst is to be printed in the Listener.1
I agree with you about Imogen's second book: one feels inclined to say “if she thought his music as bad as all that, why did she trouble to write about it?”2
