Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Miss Watkins

Letter No.: VWL2968

The White Gates,
Dorking.

16th March, 1949

Dear Miss Watkins1,

Thank you very much for your kind letter, and for the precious relic of Brahms2 which you have given me.
The pleasure of working together at that great music grows with me more and more every year and I feel at last I am beginning to understand some of it.
Yours sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams
