Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Roy Douglas

Letter No.:
VWL3082
April 18th 1955.

10, Hanover Terrace, N.W.1.

Dear Roy
Thank you so much for your letter. I shall probably put the whole thing1 away for a time and then digest all the criticisms, and perhaps they will become part of my own opinion. I am sorry I troubled you about the band parts which I have since found.
I suggested your name to Gerald Finzi who wants help with the copying of his new Concerto,2 (score and parts) Would you be able and willing to help him? Anyhow, I am sending him your address.
Yrs
