Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Gerald Finzi

Letter No.:
VWL3172
6th July, 1949.

The White Gates,
Dorking.

Dear Gerald

You never put P.T.O. in your letter and so I have only just discovered your P.S. about the pianist.1 It seems rather a difficult case. Would you think it worth while to state the case to the Butterworth Trust and see what they can do? They have not got much money, but perhaps a little might help.
Yrs
