Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Roy Douglas

Letter No.:
August 15 1955.

10, Hanover Terrace, N.W.1.

Dear Roy

Thank you very much for your letter. As regards the symph: would it not be a good plan if I sent it to you straight away, and then you can get on with it after your holiday, at your leisure without waiting for me to come home? Or would you prefer me to leave it with OUP for safe keeping, and then you could call for it when you wanted it?1
