Dear Miss Scott

My husband has just received 2 packets from Ivor Gurney.1 He has made a selection & asks if you would kindly go through them & deal with them as you think best.
My husband was much pleased at the fact of Ivor's sending him the humourous2 picture of his attending to it twice in his letters.

Yours very sincerely
Adeline Vaughan Williams

General notes:

The VWs had stayed at Wheatfield in the summer of 1922 to house-sit for the Curles; date assumed from this period (but may not be, in view of VWL502 and VWL4597 which give the impression that the VWs had only just arrived at Wheatfieldin mid-July).
