Letter from Ursula Vaughan Williams to Michael and Eslyn Kennedy
Thank you for lovely long letter. Poor John1 – he is in the wars! We had a lovely concert in Bath, & the west looked radiant.
Now the house is full of Milfords2 & Joy,3& we have his concert tonight & off to Innsbruck on Wednesday morning – all very exciting.4 Ralph is frightfully well, & everything is fine!
Fondest love
Ursula
