Dear Adolf,

For your information I enclose copy of Vaughan Williams’s reply to my letter. I have written to him to say that you will be writing to him, having visited Boughton, concerning both the dinner and the proposal to produce one or more of his operas, together with an approximate budget for the latter. I mentioned that Steuart Wilson had agreed to support the whole project.
