Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Stanley Godman

Letter No.:
May 9th 1957.

Dear Mr Godman,

Thank you for your interesting article about John Broadwood. By the way, Miss Gilchrist, and one or two other folksong[i]sts queried some of the facts of my lecture of 1912. I daresay you have noticed this in on [sic] of the numbers of the EFDS Journal.1
I cannot think of anyone - apart from Captain Broadwood, who would be able to help you with your research for further facts.
I wish I could have heard the Lovers Ghost on recorders.
Yours sincerely,
R Vaughan Williams
