I loved having your letter – & all you said.
I’m sorry you don’t like my vulgar tune – I was rather pleased with it – it originally belonged to an overture called “Homage à Rossini” which I roughly sketched & then lost
I hope your overture is not lost – because I want it soon to learn it1
