Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Grace Williams

Letter No.:
[autumn 1937?]

The White Gates,
Westcott Road,

Dearest Grace
I'm so sorry you kept away
I'm fearfully excited to find that Hen Walia is to be broadcast - so I shall hear it
- Also a long screed all about you in last weeks Radio Times - a bore about those Tuba etc parts - but a composer's life is made up of that kind of thing.
Good luck!!!
Love from Uncle Ralph
