Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Peggy Glanville-Hicks

Letter No.: VWL3971

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Jan 19 [1951]

Dear Peggy
I fear that OUP1 have turned down your songs – they let me know in October – then I fear I let things slip a bit – but I then sent them to Lengnick– but have not heard from them yet.
We must see if we can do anything – I suppose no U.S.A. publisher will do anything
Love Uncle Ralph
