My Dear Joan
Thank you very much for writing.  Let me know how Diccon1 has fared & what he gets & then we must see what can be done.
I had a talk with the violin master at Rugby & he thinks Diccon is cut out for music master at a school – does he fancy that?
He definitely said he did not consider him enough of a specialist to be a professional violinist – you have probably been told all this already.
My love to Martin – I am so glad he is composing again
