[29 August 1921]

Dear Miss Mann
I hope very much to have an opportunity of putting some work in your way – though nothing definite yet.
Meanwhile I much hope you will not let the E. Singers drop. How about Norman Stone for Tenor – he is a 1st rate musician & well accustomed to ensemble work – & then you cd have Notley to take Clive’s place when he is away.2
Yrs vy sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
