Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Mr Scott

Letter No.:
December 26th 1955.

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

Dear Mr Scott,
Thank you very much for writing to tell me what my music has meant to you. I am so glad if you have found, through it, something for which you were looking and which you needed. I think it is often possible for the hearer to find things that the writer did not know were there, and I am happy that this has happened.
With kind regards and all good wishes
R Vaughan Williams
