Just thank him1 & say that we are not asking such busy men as our supporters to serve on ctee - but that any help we cd give us wd be most gratefully received - especially if he cd organize some publicity in Glasgow.

1. Assumed to be W. Gillies Whittaker; this letter appears to be a response to a letter from Whittaker dated 5 February 1935 (see British Library MS Mus. 1714/1/9, f. 22) in which he says he is happy to serve on the Holst Memorial Committee.
