From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,

Dear Father George,
That is an excellent article on Chinese music which you sent me. I am so glad that your splendid book1 is becoming known on the Continent.
Yours sincerely,
R Vaughan Williams

Shelfmark of copy:
MS Mus. 1714/1/32, f. 13
General notes:

Typewritten, signed.  Perhaps this should be dated 1957 (typist's error?) as VW does not appear to have received a copy of the book until July 1956, and it was only published that year so was unlikely to be already popular abroad.
