So glad to see your handwriting again & know you are safe home. I had your long and interesting letter from N.F.land1 - but did not know where to answer. There is a lot I want to talk about. I shall be pretty busy with the band parts of 'Job' til 17th - but after that. Why not come to Norwich?2

1. Karpeles had been collecting folk melodies in Newfoundland; she made two trips, in autumn 1929 and summer 1930. 
2. VW's masque Job had its premiere in concert form at the Norwich Festival in October 1930.
