Letter No.: VWL4836

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

[before 25 January, 1946]

Dear Clive
I see you are rehearsing Merry Wives (Nicolai) at RCM on Friday 25th (at 11.0?
-wd it be worth while my coming?  I like early rehearsals because I learn such a lot from them – but unless it is likely to be fairly complete it wd not be worth while (I know its not dress or orchestra – but that is what I want)
So sorry to trouble you
