Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Peter Montgomery

Letter No.:
Aug 23 [1?]

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,

Dear Peter
I should think the Mus Bac would be useful to you - but it is rather difficult to decide - Certainly if you go in for it you ought to  put in 3 months hard so as to ensure success. C.H. Kitson is supposed to be the great exam coach - but he has been ill lately and I do not know how much work he can undertake now. Also, to some people he is unbearably pedantic - I believe that Moule is very good and he would of course know the special Cambridge conditions.
Adeline to whom I am dictating this sends you her love.
R Vaughan Williams
