Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Peter Montgomery
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
Dear Peter
I've already written a screed about Norman Hay & sent it direct to Birmingham - Time was too short to do anything else.
I wish I knew more about his work - but i wrote enthusiastically about what I did know.
I see much of your name in the Radio Times these days.
Did Jelly2 tell you how we did the Mendelssohn Concerto without rehearsal?
Yrs
