Dear Maud
For John Barleycorn I suggest 1st, 2nd and last settings. Certainly you must keep the twiddly bits, they are aprt of the scheme. I think one setting is enough for ‘Rosebud’.1
May I make a please for ‘That’s the best way to forget her’ (I forget the real name)
As regards the Appalachian songs you must spare me till October when I hope to have cleared away all my rubbish.
Love from
RVW
