Dear Mr Cleghorn Thomson
I have already heard personally from Mr Jahoda1 and have written a testimonial – The best I could do after only hearing him play once for about 15 minutes
Yrs sincerely

1. Fritz Jahoda was a pianist and conductor who had fled from Germany and then Austria with the rise of National Socialism, and was at this time a refugee in England applying for residency; the following year he moved to the USA.
