1. VW's Symphony no. 6, which had been performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra on August 7. Koussevitsky had cabled "American premiere your great Sixth Symphony at Berkshire Festival August 7. Deep impression magnificent reception and reviews Congratulations greetings".
