Letter from Adeline Vaughan Williams to Gerald Finzi

Letter No.:

Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dear Mr Finzi

My sister likes the idea of yr being at Sunnyside.1  She suggests £1 a week - But all must be rather uncertain - She is still in bed.  Sciatica no better.
As to Julius she thinks he can be sent downstairs to the Payns or into the wood - but I am not so sure!  Miss Payn is another snag but if she sings & plays in their basement you wd not be disturbed.  The Payns have 2 pianos!
If you consider the plan wouldnt you go down to see my sister & the house & Julius & all - write to her
