Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Ina Boyle
13 Cheyne Walk
SW3
Dear Miss Boyle
I return your MSS with many apologies for keeping them so long.
The two songs I think are the best you have done
The Sonata seems to progress quite smoothly now - The “working out” section seems to want a little attention still - I have compared your two versions & it seems to me that you want to combine the two.
Yrs sincerely
R. Vaughan Williams
