Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Madeleine Dring

Letter No.:
Feb 19

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,

My Dear Madeleine
I was up at RCM the other day and talked about you to Miss Bull and Mr. Anson. There seems to be some sort of job going with Cochran & I think Miss Bull was going to write to you about it.
I shd like to see your compositions one day - but it is hardly worth while for you to make the long journey here - so we must wait till I next come up to RCM.
I don’t think there wd be much chance of the BBC doing a whole programme by a new composer
R Vaughan Williams
