Letter No.:

[3rd November 1935]

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dearest Harriet

I should love to come on Thursday if I possibly can -
Yes I heard the Prelude over my grand new wireless - It was most exciting because I had entirely forgotten how it went - it was like listening to a new piece
- I am so grieved about your other news - but you will have all our prayers for a speedy recovery.
Yrs
