Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dear Diana

Thank you so much for your letter & the programme - good luck to your festival.1
I fear I should not be allowed to lend you the score & parts even if I had them - it wd not be fair on my publisher. But I am writing to S. & B2 to ask them to do their best for you. So will you write & tell them what parts of the Fantasia you want.3
When are you coming to London - don’t forget to let me know.
Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams

P.S.I fear this medal is only one of many polite hints that it is time to retire4
