Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Fritz Hart
From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
Dear Fritz
I would love to meet you again. If you are ever at R.C.M. on a Wednesday do come in - how about lunch at the R.C.M. one Wednesday.
They are doing my new tune (which was produced at Huddersfield last week) on Nov l3th at the BBC - but I fear that is too late for you.1 I was sick at missing your concert. I had a rehearsal for Norwich at the same moment.2
