Dearest Harriet

You know I am always faithful to you!  That dinner party was the most boring thing in the world – how much rather wd I have been listening to you!
I think the Folk dance affair wd bore you horribly – but if you cared to come of course they wd love to have you.1 Now what about my coming to tea with you on Friday 25th about 4.0? That wd be lovely if I may.
I wish I cd have heard you yesterday
Love from

R.V.W

Forgive this untidy paper – all I can get at 7.0 A.M.!

P.P.S.  Alone please! I don’t want a party.

1. VW was to give a lecture to the English Folk Dance Society. See VWL1020.
