At this time he was giving up his post as Generalmusikdirektor at Königsberg and moving to Switzerland where he was director of Zürich Radio Orchestra. He was planning a performance of VW’s Piano Concerto with Harriet Cohen at Strasburg later in the month. See VWL1067.
