My Dear
This is a fearful disappointment – I have to go to London tomorrow (Tuesday) & was prepared to come morning to see you alone & aft. to the tea-fight & I can’t manage Friday.
As regard Epi[thalamion] – I fear its out of the question – too much preparation in these times – also it wd be no good in a large theatre without orch and its not orchestrated yet. No for a charity matinée you want well known people doing well known things.
I’ve had a charming letter from Rhys
Good news about the Spectator. I like the 2 new poems.
