It was very dear of you to write – I do wish you could hear it¹ – It is all very quiet & not at all like the one before – I thought Foss² did an almost impossible task very well.
I must tell you that we have had happy letters from the Löwenbachs who are in New York – He is quite well again and is doing journalistic work on a Czech paper published in New York
