Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Norman Peterkin

Letter No.:
[30th April 1944]

The White Gates,

Dear Peterkin

Many thanks for all the trouble you have taken re Richard II.  I sent the score 2 days ago - but I understand that the performance has been postponed to the autumn - so I suppose I shall not get my money till then!1
The “Hymn of Praise” arrived safely - Many thanks2
Yrs sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams
