The White Gates

Dear Gerald

Ursula tells me that you have inside knowledge of books & their value and we should be grateful if you could make an enquiry about the value of a first edition (1791) of Boswell's Life of Johnson - Also we should be grateful if you could recommend anyone with the necessary interest & knowledge to help R about the sale of books that are likely to be valuable & that R does not want to keep.1
There are some good flower books.
Dont let this bother you in any way.

1. RVW had just inherited Leith Hill Place from his brother Hervey and with it a large number of books.
